Unlike the Bryan’s, Karolina did not need the help of her identical twin Krystina to make a name for herself. It is in singles that she succeeded. With her amazing serve (400 aces on average per season since 2015) the big Kaja (1m86) has not stopped improving over the years. In 2016 she reached the US Open final beating along the way both Williams sisters. In 2015 and 2016 she won the Fed cup by BNP Paribas. In 2019, the former world number 1 started working with Conchita Martinez. That year she won 4 titles and was 5 times runner-up. She then kicked off 2020 with a title in Dubai (# 16th). But still a void in Slams with yet no trophy lift, despite another final in Wimbledon in 2021. A line that remains empty on her resume, but probably not for long.
