For 47 years, BNP Paribas has become the leading partner of tennis in all its forms, by supporting – and sponsoring – men and women’s tennis, local, family and university events, international tournaments and parasports events.

BNP Paribas shares a common passion with all tennis fans. Inspired by a love of the sport, the Group has consistently sought to bring you a privileged access to the best that tennis has to offer.

In 2011, BNP Paribas created wearetennis.com, a platform entirely dedicated to tennis news, providing a constant flow of information covering all players, all tournaments, all around the world.. 

Since 2011, "We Are Tennis", BNP Paribas's sponsorship signature, has conveyed the message that the Group leaves no stone unturned to offer fans unique opportunities to experience their favorite sport.

In 2015, BNP Paribas established the We Are Tennis Fan Academy (WAFTA) so fans could enjoy the thrills of tennis in a novel way.  Helping with the launch was the Academy ambassador John McEnroe, a legendary figure of international tennis. Today, WATFA is a community of fans who enjoy sharing their passion all year round, whether they are watching a tournament from box seats or attending other events.

For BNP Paribas, sponsorship means social commitment and responsibility

BNP Paribas has set out to have a positive impact on society, thus giving its actions more meaning. 
In 2015, as part of this drive, the Group introduced its Aces from the Heart initiative to raise funds for children's hospitals.

Professional tennis 

Relationship between BNP Paribas and Tennis started in 1973 in Roland Garros. Today, BNP Paribas is deeply involved in professional tennis ecosystem: Roland Garros main partner, Fed Cup by BNP Paribas title partner, sponsor of 3 ATP Masters 1000 (BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Monte Carlo Rolex Masters, Internazionali BNP d’Italia in Rome), Open 13 Provence (Marseille), Open Parc de Lyon, Moselle Open (Metz), BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open, Fever-tree Championships (Queens London), European Open (Anvers), Open de Rennes, Primrose Bordeaux.
 

Tennis for Everyone

For many years, BNP Paribas has been working to help make tennis a sport that anyone can play.
BNP Paribas is a partner of wheelchair tennis (BNP Paribas Open de France, BNP Paribas World Team Cup), Junior and University tennis (Junior Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and Junior Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, Master’U BNP Paribas) and Amateur tennis (sponsor of Trophée BNP Paribas de la Famille and support of more than 1000 amateur tournaments worldwide).
BNP Paribas also created in 2015 the We Are Tennis Cup, an international tournament dedicated to its employees. With around 3000 participants every year from more than 40 countries, the “WAT Cup” is today one of the biggest internal sport events in the world.
To this end, the Group has partnered with charities like Fête le Mur, a program started by Yannick Noah to bring tennis to young people from disadvantaged urban are.
