Let it be known, Ons Jabeur is not playing just for herself. The Tunisian is playing for all the youngsters (especially the girls) of her country. She is their role model, their inspiration. She, who never had a player to look up to, to the point where she doubted her capacity to perform at the highest level. But she kept working. Harder and harder. And here she is now amongst the best players in the world. Quarter finals at the Australian Open in 2020, again at Wimbledon in 2021, Ons Jabeur became the first female Arab player to go so far in Slams. She picked up her first title in 2021, becoming the first to do so on the WTA Tour as a Tunisian. Ons likes to entertain, and therefore uses often what she calls « crazy shots ». She however masters them with great art, such as her drop shots that create a lot of havoc. So if you have a chance, sit back and enjoy watching her play.
