The American player Varvara Lepchenko scored a 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 victory over former world number one Jelena Jankovic to reach the third round of the French Open.  It is one of the biggest wins of her career and she has Francesca Schiavone in the next round. However, before that, the gang at Radio Roland Garros wanted to hear from Varvara so she was invited to join the commentary team for a brief time. She sat in on the John Isner-Paul Henri Mathieu marathon.
