He is one of he leading chair umpires in the world. Pascal Maria has enjoyed many high points in a notable career from umpiring finals at Wimbledon and the French Open to finals of the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.   Pascal was umpiring the 2011 final of the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas between Spain and Argentina and he was in the chair for the match that decided the championship when Rafael Nadal defeated Juan Martin Del Potro.   We Are Tennis caught up with him to ask about his life in the chair.
