Often described as the greatest of all times the Swiss is still filling with joy the heart of his fans. After his 2018 Australian Open title (his 20th) Roger continued to write the tennis history books by playing a historical final at Wimbledon in 2019 versus Novak Djokovic. A few months later, the Swiss went on a South American exhibition tour, beating along the way the record attendance in a tennis game. 45 000 people came to see him play versus Sascha Zverev. With such numbers, it is easier to understand why he doesn’t want to call it quits despite his age (40) and a third knee operation. In 2021, he reached the quarters at Wimbledon but such results will get tougher and tougher for Roger Federer, whom with his 20 Grand Slams, and over 100 titles on his mantle piece has nothing else to prove. All he needs to do is enjoy.
