Becoming a tennis champion is often in the cards. Especially when you grow up on the tour because your older brother, Mischa Zverev, is a pro, your dad a former pro, and your mother a coach. Sascha Zverev has therefore taken the same path as his brother, before wizzing by him, and breaking-in the top 5 in 2017 thanks to his first two Masters 1000 titles. He then needed all of this quick success to sink in. Coached at a moment by Ivan Lendl, Sascha went back to the family ties in order to bounce back. Thanks to his serve and his power from the back, he reached his first Grand Slam final at the US Open in 2020. In 2021 he captured two Masters 1000 titles (Madrid and Cincinnati) as well as the Olympic gold. Not too shabby!
