Wimbledon is unique in so many ways, from the traditions that are still maintained like predominantly white clothes or the Royal Box. There is a quaintness about the place but at the same time Wimbledon is very much a people's tournament.
One aspect that makes it an event for all is the community spirit that the fans show. Their desire to part of the greatest show in tennis and nothing highlights that more than the daily queues to try and get the few remaining tickets each day. Afterall, Wimbledon is theatre and everyone likes a good show.
