To this end, it implements the following strategy and actions:
- Multi-year accessibility plan is currently being drafted
- Actions will be planned shortly
- Action plan is currently being drafted
- This accessibility statement applies to the site https://wearetennis.bnpparibas/en
STATE OF COMPLIANCE
We Are Tennis (https://wearetennis.bnpparibas) is not in compliance with the General Guidelines for Improving Accessibility (“RGAA”), version 4.1, due to the non-conformities and deviations listed below.
DRAWING UP THIS ACCESSIBILITY DECLARATION
This declaration was drawn up on 01/12/2020
RESULTS OF THE TESTS
The audit of compliance performed in-house indicates 48% compliance with the RGAA version 4.1 criteria.
The average rate of compliance of the online service is 71%.
Out of the 106 criteria, 54 are applicable, of which:
-
26 criteria in compliance.
-
28 criteria not in compliance.
NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT
Images
- The logo in the footer should vocalize “BNP Paribas”.
- Decorative/illustrative images such as the tournament logo or player’s portrait are not correctly ignored. Player’s names and tournament names will be voiced twice. The problem is also present on decorative images in the news.
Frame
- On every pages, there is an untitled frame. This frame is contained in an element hidden by a display:none which, if it is intended to be hidden, should be hidden by an aria-hidden attribute with the use of “tabindex” attributes set to 0 for all. interactive elements of the frame.
- Otherwise, it should have a "title" attribute which will identify it.
Colors
- The pictograms visible on all the pages: "Connection", "Change of language" and "Search" only change color on hover. Consider an underline as on the menu.
- The pictograms allowing to identify the winner from the loser cannot be distinguished if one does not perceive the colors. They must be differentiated by another visual device not based on color. Or remove the picto for the loser.
- A contrast error between the color of the text and the color of its background is frequently visible on the site. These errors can be perceived on the match information in "Live", on the white text on a green background on the player’s sheet or even the green on a gray background on this same page.
- Green colors used in interface components are not accessible. Problem visible throughout the site. In particular the CTA buttons "Learn more" in the #FAAPOINTSFORCHANGE section, "Discover our commitments".
- The green color, the main color of the site, visible on the arrows, social network icons, preceding the titles "Tournaments", "Players" and even on the "/" separating the dates of tournaments, results in a ratio of 'about 1.8 - depends on its background color.
Multimedia
- No element makes it possible to identify the fact that we are in the presence of a video (for example a level 3 title before the video).
Links
- The links should be more explicit: “Facebook” could become “Access the WeAreTennis Facebook page”. Possibility of filling in this with an ARIA-Label.
- The link image based on the logo should have an “alt” attribute with the value “back to home”.
- The links to change the language have labels that are not very explicit, simple abbreviations.
- On several pages of the site there are empty links, a title is missing between the A and /A tags
Scripts
- In mobile display, even when the menu is collapsed, its elements are voiced.
- Interactive elements must indicate the open/closed state, for example in registration/login interfaces, by means of an "aria-expended" attribute and link them to the element whose opening they control by means of an “aria-controls” attribute.
- Items like “Login” and “Language Change” are not keyboard addressable. They must be made into real links or buttons. On the rankings page, we do not have the possibility to filter according to the tournaments.
Mandatory elements
- Some errors are present in the source code, all these errors are not inconvenient for accessibility.
- Language changes are not specified in the source code, which makes the vocalization bad. We see this problem in search results, for example: “Roger Federer is huge! “, “Djokovic is back”, “Online”, “we are tennis”, “Final eight”.
Structuring information
- On the home page, we see that the title of the news section and the news itself are both at the same title level: h2. News should be in h3.
- The structure of the source code is not respected throughout the site. The "main" is not present on the pages: "Home page" and "Advantages".
- Some elements of the site are not properly structured. Search results should be in list form as the ranking of players and the news. Some lists are poorly written and have div tags under ul tags.
- There are poorly semantised quotes, q tag elements are missing or replaced by em tags.
Presentation of information
- Winners' pictograms are not available without CSS
- In the Benefits section on the home page, the left arrow to navigate to previous benefits is cut off. Some texts overlap, others go beyond the framework and the wording takes various shapes. In the calendar page, the list of months is truncated if displayed at 200%
- The focus has not been considered on the entire site which is a blocking element.
- The search field has no label because it is hidden by a display:none, it should be hidden by an accessible mask.
- Increasing the line height causes overlaps or truncations.
Forms
- Missing label on the search engine, not very explicit wording.
- On the registration page, the "Register" button could be more explicit. The term is a bit complicated, we know that we register on the site. Favor "Create an account"
Navigation
- There is no way to avoid or quickly reach certain content aggregation areas on this first version of the site.
- There is no skipping or quick access link for this first version of the site.
- The tab order is not always respected and can cause inconsistencies and discomfort when navigating on the keyboard.
- Information such as the results of matches generates a vocalization that is difficult to understand because it is given in linear form.
Consultation
- Downloadable office document not accessible.
Disproportionately burdened derogation
- Nothing to report.
Content not subject to the accessibility obligation
- Nothing to report.
